Illustrated Watercolor Journaling: Beginning

Ever want to take one of our classes over a period of a few weeks, so that you can try your skills out and come back for more? We have just the thing! Note, this class is our original class that we have been teaching at the Rec Dept for over 10 years. If you are interested, scroll down to our Advanced class.

We teach a six-week "Illustrated Watercolor Journaling" class through our local Los Gatos-Saratoga Community Education & Recreation department in a classroom setting. The content is much the same as the day-long class, but with some additional homework, and a few new tricks up our sleeves.

Come to get those drawing, painting and journaling skills really moving! Get lots of feedback (the non-scary kind!), get lots of practice, see your progression, and start filling in those journal pages!

A $10 materials fee is payable to the instructors at the first class.

Los Gatos-Saratoga Recreation Department in Los Gatos, CA

Illustrated Watercolor Journaling: Advanced

Our long time students have been clamoring for a more advanced class to improve their skills, so we have added this new class to the roster.

Take your watercolor journals to the next level with our advanced skills class. Gay and Christina will be teaching advanced drawing, painting and writing techniques like drawing and painting people, negative space, landscapes, more on hand-lettering and writing, color themes, page layout/design and more based on the interest and requests of the class. This class is meant for students who have already taken "Illustrated Watercolor Journaling" and are wanting to expand their skills. We might also meet for a class or two in a cafe in Los Gatos so that we can experiment drawing together in public.

NOTE: Please bring your own portable watercolors, waterproof pens, brush and journal and/or watercolor paper to class. There will be no material fee for this class as students will be bringing their own.
