Our May 2007 trip was a huge success!
Our May 2007 trip to the Channel Island aboard Vision was a wonderful, memorable trip with 30 students -- a full charter! Students joined us from all over the United States and Canada including British Columbia, Michigan, Oregon, New Mexico and Washington, as well as many people from the California Bay Area and Santa Barbara area.
Students learned how to slow down, draw, write and appreciate moments while we motored around the islands and landed on many of them for day hikes. Gay and Christina shared their past journals and lots of techniques to help students feel comfortable drawing, painting and writing. By the end of the trip, people had made some friendship and were sharing all sorts of great information and inspiration.
We have a photo site online if you are interested in seeing more from our 2007 trip at: www.flickr.com In particular, take a look at pages [7 - 11] to see photos of the students with a few pages from their journals at the end of the trip.
If you'd like to see pages from the instructors journals from this trip, lookie here.
Did you miss it?
